First Day of Kick-Off Meeting for Erasmus Project „Developing an International VET Competition for Gastronomy Students“
 
The inaugural day of the Erasmus project „Developing an International VET Competition for Gastronomy Students“ began with an opening meeting at 10:15 AM. The session started with a warm introduction and a brief get-to-know-each-other segment, allowing participants to familiarize themselves with fellow project members. This introductory phase fostered a collaborative atmosphere, essential for the project’s success.
 
Following the introductions, an overview of the project was presented. The project coordinators detailed the objectives, expected outcomes, and the significance of establishing an international VET (Vocational Education and Training) competition for gastronomy students. This comprehensive introduction ensured that all participants had a clear understanding of the project’s scope and their roles within IT.
 
The next session focused on the challenges and solutions associated with organizing cooking competitions. Participants engaged in a dynamic discussion, sharing their experiences and identifying common obstacles such as logistical issues, participant coordination, and judging criteria. The first day concluded with dinner at Stara Picerija in Subotica.This final event of the day provided a relaxed atmosphere for participants to reflect on the day’s activities, discuss the next steps, and continue building strong professional relationships over a delightful meal.
